James Crill is a Jersey Solicitor. He has been with Mourant, one of the largest offshore providers of legal and third party administration services, for nearly 30 years, having become a partner in 1987.
Initially practising within the legal services area, he moved to the administration services side of the business in 1990. For the next 12 years, James headed the development of Mourant Equity Compensation Solutions, offering bespoke solutions to a wide range of global companies and assisting them with both their equity-based plans and executive pension provision. In 2003 he moved to head Mourant Private Wealth, specialising in the provision of integrated wealth management and estate planning structures for high net worth families and individuals. Since his retirement in 2005, James has been retained by Mourant as a consultant, specialising in Middle Eastern markets.
James has always been driven by finding alternative and innovative solutions to client problems. He facilitated the introduction of the Law At Work model into the Mourant group to form the joint venture company Law At Work (Channel Islands) Ltd in 2004. Now with Law At Work (International Holdings) Ltd, he assists both clients and partner firms implement solutions that break the mould within their relevant jurisdictions.
