Kelly Flageul (Senior Manager HR & Legal Services

As an HR and Legal Manager for Law At Work (Channel Islands) Ltd, Kelly is actively involved in advising local business on existing employment law, best practice, audits of HR documentation and preparation for forthcoming legislative changes.


Kelly joined the team at Law At Work from the Jersey Electricity Company where she was responsible for advising directors, managers and staff on employment related matters.  She was the internal consultant for employment law and specialised in employee relations and employee reward issues.  Her role encompassed the creation of new contracts of employment and a comprehensive staff handbook as well as updating the Union’s collective agreements.

 

Kelly is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Chartered Management Institute.  In 2005, Kelly was appointed to the Jersey Employment Tribunal and regularly sits to adjudicate on complaints made before the Tribunal. Recent advice and training has covered the managing of redundancy issues, pay negotiations, implementation of staff handbooks and disciplinary and grievance issues. 

 

Kelly is also responsible for the development of consultancy work that LAW is providing to clients including compromise agreements, recruitment process, and the introduction of appraisal systems and the carrying out of investigation and disciplinary meetings for our clients.
