This service provides unlimited 24-hour access to our specialist advisers by telephone, 365 days a year. Its purpose is to provide information and guidance as well as specific advice. In the event of a problem, our advisers work closely with management to pinpoint the real issue and then recommend the appropriate course(s) of action so that resolution can be achieved as quickly and safely as possible. Should the solution require action over a period of time then our advisers continue to help and guide throughout the implementation of an agreed approach.
As part of the Advisory Service, clients also receive HR related letters; for example invite to disciplinary letter or outcome of grievance letters. Our clients find this to be invaluable when they are dealing with day-to-day employee issues and concerns such as poor performance, absence management etc. Our current clients tend to view the service as an extension of their own business where they can seek support from a team who knows and understands their business.
We also recognise that from time to time, a "face to face" meeting is necessary as opposed to a telephone conversation and as such we are happy to welcome our clients to our offices in West Centre, St Helier or Lefebvre Street, St Peter Port or at your premises. There will be no additional charge for this service. The service also includes a meeting midway through the year, at which we provide feedback on the issues that have been the subject of advisory service enquiries, and make recommendations as appropriate for changes in your procedures, and for training. Access to the advisory service is open to whichever employees you permit to hold an advice card.
The Advisory Service also includes access to the Employment Practices Liability Insurance . If you are not covered by the Employment Practices Liability Insurance which recovers cost for representation at Employment Tribunal and most awards against the company we would of course be happy to provide such representation and would discuss the cost of this at the time.
